4. Personal data we may process
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process contact and identification data, communication data, booking and contractual data, payment data, website and technical data, newsletter and marketing data, photographs, recordings and testimonials, and limited sensitive personal data where reasonably relevant to safe participation.
Contact and identification data may include name, postal address, email address, telephone number, language preference, country or place of residence, organisation, role or professional title.
Communication data may include messages sent through a contact form, emails and correspondence, consultation or booking requests, feedback, questions and comments, and communication preferences.
Booking and contractual data may include selected programme, event, service or product, booking date, participation details, invoices and payment status, contractual correspondence, cancellation or transfer requests, accommodation, dietary or accessibility information, and emergency contact information where relevant.
Payment data may be processed by an independent payment provider. We generally receive payment status, transaction reference, amount and currency, payment date, and limited payment-method details. Complete credit-card or banking credentials are normally processed directly by the payment provider and are not stored by us. Payments may be processed through bank payments, TWINT or Stripe.

Photographs, recordings and testimonials may be processed where permission has been granted, including photographs or video recordings from events, audio recordings, written feedback, testimonials, and approved attribution.
Some services or events may require limited information concerning health conditions, allergies, medication, physical or psychological limitations, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, or other wellbeing information relevant to safe participation. Such information is requested only when reasonably relevant and handled with additional care and restricted access.
5. How we collect personal data
We may receive personal data directly from you; through our website forms; through email, telephone or messaging services; during a booking or purchase; through payment, scheduling or registration platforms; during an event, consultation or service; from a person booking on your behalf; from publicly available professional sources; or automatically when you use the website.
6. Purposes of processing
We process personal data for purposes including responding to enquiries, providing requested information, managing registrations and bookings, delivering services and products, fulfilling contracts, processing payments and invoices, communicating practical information, supporting participant safety and accessibility, managing customer relationships, sending requested newsletters or updates, improving programmes and the website, ensuring security, preventing misuse, fulfilling accounting, tax and legal obligations, establishing or defending legal claims, documenting consent, and publishing authorised testimonials or event media.
7. Grounds for processing
Where a legal ground is required, we rely on contract performance, consent, legal obligation, legitimate interests, protection of vital interests in an emergency, or establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You may withdraw consent at any time for future processing.
8. Requirement to provide data
Certain information is needed to respond to your request, process a booking, provide a service, issue an invoice, comply with legal obligations, or support safe participation. Where required information is not provided, we may be unable to complete the requested transaction or deliver the relevant service.
9. Website hosting and Framer
Our website is created and hosted using services provided by Framer B.V. Framer may process technical website data and information submitted through native Framer forms on our behalf. Framer uses infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services, to deliver its services. Framer’s built-in analytics may be used to understand general website activity. According to Framer, its standard analytics does not use cookies or persistent identifiers and does not store information that directly identifies an individual visitor.
10. Contact and registration forms
When you submit a contact or registration form, the information you enter is transmitted to us and may be processed by our website or form provider. We use the information to respond to you, administer your request, register you for an experience, prepare a proposal or contract, and maintain necessary business records.
11. Newsletters
We send newsletters and promotional communications to people who requested them, consented to receive them, or have an existing relationship with us where communication is legally permitted. You may unsubscribe at any time. Administrative or contractual messages relating to an active booking may still be sent where necessary.
12. Appointment and event scheduling
We may use an appointment, webinar or event-registration provider to manage bookings. The provider may process the information needed to arrange and administer the appointment or event. Its own privacy policy may also apply when you use its platform directly.
13. Payments
Payments may be processed through bank payments, TWINT or Stripe. The payment provider acts under its own legal and regulatory responsibilities and may carry out identity, security, fraud-prevention and compliance checks. We retain transaction and invoice information required for administration, accounting and legal compliance.
14. Embedded content and external media
The website may include content from services such as YouTube or Vimeo, LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook, podcast or audio platforms, maps, or external booking or payment services. When external content is loaded, the third party may receive technical information, including your IP address, browser information and the page visited.
15. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files or identifiers used by websites and online services. We may use essential technologies, analytics technologies, and third-party or marketing technologies. Essential technologies support website security, form operation, language or consent preferences, shopping or booking functions, and fraud and spam prevention. Standard Framer Analytics is designed to operate without cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Third-party integrations may use cookies or similar technologies for embedded media, audience measurement, advertising, campaign attribution and social-media functions.
Where consent is required, these technologies will remain inactive until you make a choice through the cookie banner or settings tool. You may manage cookies through your browser. Restricting essential technologies may affect certain website functions.
16. Recipients and service providers
We may share personal data with service providers where reasonably necessary, including website and hosting providers, cloud and IT providers, email and newsletter providers, booking and video-conferencing platforms, payment providers and financial institutions, accountants and administrative providers, printing, publishing and delivery partners, event venues and accommodation providers, professional advisers, and public authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.
17. International data transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Switzerland. Where personal data is transferred to a country without legally recognised adequate data protection, we use appropriate safeguards where required.
18. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, subject to legal and contractual obligations. General enquiries are normally retained up to two years after the last meaningful contact; contractual, invoice and accounting records generally ten years where Swiss accounting law requires this; newsletter data until consent is withdrawn or subscription ends; consent records for as long as needed to demonstrate consent; sensitive participation information only for as long as needed unless a longer period is justified; legal claims and disputes until applicable limitation periods and proceedings have ended.
19. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure and destruction. No online transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
20. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to ask whether we process your personal data, receive information about processing, obtain a copy, correct inaccurate or incomplete information, request deletion, request restriction, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, receive certain data in a portable format, and raise a concern with the competent data-protection authority. To exercise a right, contact us at sjunod@athena-ioe.com.

General Terms and Conditions
General Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 22 July 2026
1. Provider
These General Terms and Conditions govern offers provided by:
InsideOut Education, inh. Junod
Attn: Simone Junod
Route de Bâle 13
2805 Soyhières JU
Switzerland
Email: sjunod@athena-ioe.com
Telephone: +41 79 904 74 11
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Athena InsideOut Education and, where relevant, Simone Junod.
2. Scope
These Terms apply to contracts concerning coaching and consulting, educational programmes, seminars and workshops, meditation evenings, retreats and immersions, speaking and corporate engagements, complementary wellbeing services, webinars and online learning, digital products and downloadable materials, books and physical products sold directly by us, and other services expressly made subject to these Terms.
They apply to bookings and purchases made through our website, by email, through a registration form, by written proposal or through another channel operated by us. Purchases made through an independent third-party platform, such as Amazon or an external event platform, may also be governed by that platform’s terms.
3. Additional offer-specific conditions
A programme page, booking form, written proposal, invoice or individual agreement may contain additional conditions concerning programme content, dates, location, price, payment schedule, accommodation, cancellation, eligibility and participation requirements. Where offer-specific conditions conflict with these general Terms, the more specific agreed condition takes priority. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
4. Acceptance of the Terms
By submitting a booking, placing an order, signing a proposal or expressly accepting these Terms, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted them.
5. Formation of a contract
Information displayed on the website generally constitutes an invitation to request or purchase an offer. A contract is formed when we send an express booking or order confirmation, accept a signed proposal, issue confirmation following payment, or begin delivering the requested service with the customer’s agreement. We may decline a booking for legitimate reasons, including lack of availability, suitability or payment.
6. Eligibility and accurate information
Customers must provide complete and accurate information. A person booking on behalf of another participant confirms that they are authorised to provide the relevant information and accept the applicable conditions on that person’s behalf. Participants must be at least 18 years old unless the offer expressly permits participation by a minor with appropriate parental or guardian consent.
7. Prices
Prices are shown in Swiss francs unless another currency is indicated. The price description will state whether the amount includes applicable Swiss VAT, accommodation, meals, travel or materials. Unless expressly included, participants are responsible for their own travel, insurance, accommodation, meals and personal expenses.
8. Payment
Payment is due according to the schedule shown on the booking page, proposal or invoice. We may require full advance payment, a deposit, instalments or payment by a specified date. A place is secured only after receipt of any required deposit or payment and written confirmation from us.
9. Individual appointments
Unless otherwise agreed, individual appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge at least 48 hours before the scheduled start. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours or missed appointments may be charged in full. Late arrival does not normally extend the scheduled end time.
10. Seminars, workshops and day events
Unless the booking page states a different cancellation policy, cancellation 30 or more calendar days before the event gives a 90% refund; cancellation 15–29 calendar days before the event gives a 50% refund; cancellation fewer than 15 calendar days before the event gives no refund; non-attendance gives no refund.
11. Retreats, immersions and multi-day programmes
Unless different conditions are shown at booking, the stated booking deposit is non-refundable; cancellation 60 or more calendar days before the start gives a refund of 75% of payments exceeding the deposit; cancellation 30–59 calendar days before the start gives a refund of 50% of payments exceeding the deposit; cancellation fewer than 30 calendar days before the start gives no refund; non-attendance or early departure gives no refund. Participants are encouraged to obtain suitable travel and cancellation insurance.
12. Long-term programmes and instalment plans
Registration for a multi-module or long-term programme constitutes a commitment to the complete programme unless the offer expressly permits booking individual modules. An instalment plan divides payment timing and does not convert the programme into separate monthly purchases.
13. Cancellation or changes by us
We may make reasonable changes to schedules, facilitators, programme sequence, room or venue, online platform, activities or teaching format where they preserve the overall purpose and quality of the offer. We may cancel or postpone an event due to insufficient registrations, facilitator illness, venue unavailability, safety concerns, travel disruption, government measures, force majeure or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where we cancel an event without providing a suitable alternative, the customer may choose between transfer to another agreed offer or a credit valid for an agreed period.
14. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic or public-health restriction, war, civil unrest or terrorism, fire or flood, transport disruption, energy or telecommunications failure, government order, serious illness or emergency affecting essential personnel.
15. Physical products and books
For products sold directly by us, availability may be limited and estimated delivery times are indicative. Switzerland provides no general statutory change-of-mind right for ordinary online purchases. A defective, damaged or incorrect product should be reported within seven days of receipt, with a description and reasonable photographic evidence. Purchases through Amazon, a bookseller or another third-party retailer are governed by that retailer’s fulfilment, return and refund procedures.
16. Digital products
Digital products may include electronic books, recordings, meditations, online courses, documents, templates, digital teaching material and access to member content. Unless otherwise stated, the customer receives a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the digital product for private or internal professional learning. Once a digital product has been downloaded, accessed, streamed or otherwise supplied, payments are non-refundable except where legally required or expressly agreed otherwise.
17. Intellectual property and permitted use
All intellectual-property rights in our programmes and materials remain with Athena InsideOut Education, Simone Junod or the relevant licensor or traditional custodian. Customers and participants may use materials for their own personal learning and integration. Without prior written permission, they may not reproduce or distribute materials, upload them to shared drives or online platforms, resell or sublicense them, translate or republish them, record sessions or events, teach proprietary processes as their own, create competing programmes, use content for artificial-intelligence training or dataset creation, or disclose confidential rituals, processes or restricted teachings.
Participation does not grant teaching authority, certification or custodianship unless expressly awarded in writing.
18. Recording and confidentiality
Participants must respect the privacy and dignity of others. Personal stories, experiences and information shared by other participants should be treated as confidential. Photography, filming, audio recording, screenshots and screen recording are prohibited unless expressly authorised.
19. Participant conduct
We seek to create learning environments founded on dignity, care, responsibility and mutual respect. We may refuse admission or require a person to leave where conduct threatens safety or wellbeing, disrupts the experience, harasses or intimidates another person, breaches confidentiality, infringes intellectual-property rights, involves intoxication or unlawful activity, or disregards reasonable facilitator instructions. Where removal results from participant conduct, no refund is generally due.
20. Health, wellbeing and personal responsibility
Our services support education, awareness, self-leadership, personal development, complementary wellbeing and spiritual exploration. They do not replace medical, psychiatric, psychotherapeutic or other regulated healthcare. Participants remain responsible for assessing their capacity to participate and for seeking qualified professional advice where appropriate. Participants must inform us before an event or session of relevant health conditions, allergies, pregnancy, medication, mobility limitations, psychological vulnerabilities, dietary or accessibility needs.
21. No guarantee of outcomes
Human development is individual and depends on many factors. Testimonials, stories and examples describe personal experiences and do not constitute promises or guarantees. We do not guarantee any specific health result, emotional result, professional advancement, financial return, relationship outcome, spiritual experience, business result, transformation or manifestation.
22. Corporate services
Corporate training, consulting and speaking engagements may be subject to a separate written proposal or agreement. The client organisation is responsible for internal participant communication, appropriate venue or technology, required approvals, agreed payment and cancellation terms, and ensuring participation is voluntary where sensitive personal work is involved.
23. Liability
We deliver our services with reasonable professional care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, opportunity or anticipated savings, decisions made following general educational content, loss caused by inaccurate customer information, third-party services, failure to follow safety instructions, personal property lost or damaged at an event, or circumstances outside reasonable control. Where liability may lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a particular contract is limited to the amount paid to us under that contract. Nothing excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
24. Third-party providers
An offer may involve independent providers such as venues, accommodation providers, caterers, transport providers, publishers, payment processors, booking systems and online meeting platforms. Independent providers remain responsible for their own services, terms and conduct.
25. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Customers who provide another person’s data confirm that they are authorised to do so and have informed that person appropriately.
26. Testimonials and event media
We will request suitable permission before publicly using an identifiable testimonial, photograph, video or recording. A person may withdraw consent for future uses, subject to material already lawfully published or produced and to any agreed contractual rights.
27. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms for future bookings to reflect changes in law, services, technology, payment processes or organisational practices. The version accepted at the time of contract generally continues to govern that contract unless the parties agree otherwise or a legal change requires immediate application.
28. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
29. No waiver
A delay or failure to enforce a right does not constitute a permanent waiver of that right.
30. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and the contractual relationship are governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-law rules to the extent permitted. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is excluded where legally permitted. The courts at our registered office in Switzerland shall have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction and other mandatory legal protections remain reserved.
